Side Tournaments
The Bowlers Journal Championships and The Forty Frame Game give competitive bowlers of all skill levels the chance to get a few more games in and potentially earn some additional prize money.
Both events have a variety of divisions and side events to make it fun and exciting for everyone in competing in Las Vegas.
*The Forty Frame Game is not being held in 2022 (see below).

Squad times for the 2022 event are 7 a.m., 9:30 a.m., noon, 2:30 p.m., 5 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 10 p.m. and 12:30 a.m.
Note: Spots are limited, and some squad times might night be offered every day, so make sure to register ahead of time or check for availability.

The Forty Frame Game
The Forty Frame Game will not be held in 2022. The staff plans to return in 2023 and looks forward to seeing everyone in Reno.

Practice Sessions at the USBC Open Championships
Team practice sessions are back in 2022!
REGISTER NOW
For $100, up to 10 bowlers can spend an hour on a pair of lanes freshly oiled with the same oil pattern being used for the team event at the 2022 Open Championships.
It's one more chance to get sharp before making the march to the lanes, or use the hour to finalize your game plan!
Team practice sessions will be held at the South Point Bowling Center.
Practice times for 2022 will mirror the Bowlers Journal Championships (7 a.m., 9:30 a.m., noon, 2:30 p.m., 5 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 10 p.m. and 12:30 a.m.), but make sure to sign up in advance or check ahead of time for availability. Some time slots may not be offered every day.
